What is a carrier oil?
Carrier oils are cold-pressed vegetable oils. They are extracted from the fatty portion of plants – usually from nuts, kernels or seeds.
How are carrier oils used?
Use these high quality oils to dilute essential oils and other oils. You can apply them topically as an amazing base oil for aromatherapy and massage.
How do you mix essential oils with a carrier oil?
When essential oils and other concentrated aromatics are applied directly to the skin undiluted, they can cause severe irritation. They can also cause sensitiveness, redness or burning, or other reactions in some individuals.
Be sure to blend your essential oils with a carrier oil. We highly recommend using a good quality carrier oil as a base oil in your massage therapy mediums. You can choose Sweet Almond Oil carrier oil, Grape seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil and others.
