How to Wash Pillows: A Comprehensive Guide

When was the last time you washed your pillows? If you can't remember, it might be time to give them some TLC. Washing your pillows not only helps eliminate dust mites, bacteria, and allergens, but it also ensures a fresh and comfortable sleep environment. Follow this guide to keep your pillows clean and fluffy.

Why Wash Your Pillows?

Over time, pillows accumulate sweat, oils, dust mites, and other allergens, which can affect your health and sleep quality. This can lead to musty odour that can be eliminated by washing. Regularly washing your pillows can:

  • Extend their lifespan
  • Reduce allergens and bacteria
  • Maintain their shape and support
  • Keep them smelling fresh

How Often Should You Wash Your Pillows?

It's recommended to wash your pillows every 4 to 6 months. However, this can vary based on personal preference, health conditions, or specific allergies.
