This white cream is a bit buttery, but quite pleasant. It is more suited to massaging into sore body parts than some of the other analgesics. I think it would be very nice for seniors. The scent is reminiscent of toothpaste, but in a good way. It is mild enough on my wrist that I cannot smell it with my arm extended. Ten minutes in, there is a cool numbing sensation that peaks at about twelve minutes. It perhaps needs more massaging into the skin at application since some of it still visible on my skin after twenty minutes. It ends like some of the massage oils. You might want a shower after the treatment. For me the effectiveness began to dissipate after an hour and 45 minutes, at which point I washed it off.
