Motion Medicine has a strong scent of camphor and eucalyptus, quite reminiscent of Vicks VapoRub. It's quite intense at first, but diminishes as it evaporates and absorbs into the skin.. Applied to my wrist, if I extend my arm, I can't smell it at all, but up close there is a scent of vegetation (arnica?). It smells like medicine. Just about five minutes after application the cooling sensation begins. It is cool and tingly. By twenty minutes in, my wrist feels almost numb. It feels like it has penetrated into my tissues. About three hours later, I can definitely feel my pain again. Because of the strong scent, I'm of a mind to wash it off with soap and water. There is a residual scent after a couple of washes.
