Instructions
Between 3 to 5 drops of an essential oil are recommended to use in a diffuser with a 100ml water capacity. For the recipes above your diffuser should have a water capacity of at least 200ml.
Your Diffusor
Remember to fill up the tank—because your diffuser relies on water to help create a nice smelling mist. You will routinely have to fill it up with water. Most diffusers have clearly marked fill lines so you always know exactly how much water to use. If you are in an area with hard water avoid regular tap water because it can cause mineral buildup inside the diffuser, compromising its ability to work properly over time. Your best bet is to use filtered water in your diffuser when available.
Cautions
Adding too many drops of essential oils to your diffuser can lead to headaches and dizziness. Do not "over -drop."
Pregnant women and people who have hormone-related medical conditions such as diabetes should talk to their doctors before using essential oils topically or with a diffuser.
